11/22/2009 Desmond Clark, TE (Chi) Clark was inactive for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles because of a neck injury.

Analysis: Clark missed two games in September because of a cracked rib, and his neck had been bothering him when he aggravated it against San Francisco on Nov. 12. He has 11 catches for 91 yards in seven games.
11/22/2009 Richard Seymour, DE (Oak) Seymour left Oakland's game against Cincinnati with a lower back injury and will not return.

Analysis: Seymour left in the opening quarter Sunday and the team announced at the start of the third quarter that he would not return.
11/22/2009 Kurt Warner, QB (Ari) Warner left Sunday's game at St. Louis after taking a blow to the head in the second quarter, and the team said his return was questionable.

Analysis: Warner was in uniform but on the sideline for the start of the second half as Matt Leinart took over.
11/22/2009 Al Harris, CB (GB) Harris appeared to hurt his left knee and left on a cart early in the fourth quarter for X-rays in Green Bay's game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Analysis: Harris was injured away from the play defending 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree with Green Bay leading 30-10. He stayed down in an awkward position and did not put any weight on the leg when he was helped by trainers to the cart. While on the cart, he pulled his sock down and tried to brace his left knee, but the team didn't identify which knee was injured.
11/22/2009 Aaron Kampman, LB (GB) Kampman left on a cart for X-rays on his left knee midway through the third quarter of Green Bay's game against San Francisco.

Analysis: Kampman was rushing against right tackle Adam Snyder when he went down and clutched his knee. Kampman walked off the field with a limp and went straight to the trainer's table behind the Packers' bench. Moments later, he walked to a cart and was taken to the locker room for X-rays.
11/22/2009 Ladell Betts, RB (Was) Betts, the fill-in for injured Clinton Portis, was knocked out of the Dallas game with a left knee injury.

Analysis: Betts apparently got hurt on a hard tackle by Bradie James at the end of a 2-yard gain midway through the first quarter Sunday.
11/22/2009 Kolby Smith, RB (KC) Smith injured his left ankle and will probably not return to Sunday's game.

Analysis: Smith made his first carry against the Pittsburgh Steelers and then limped off the field. He was activated two weeks ago after missing a year with knee surgery.
11/22/2009 C.J. Wallace, S (Sea) Wallace is active for Sunday's game against Minnesota.
11/20/2009 James Harrison, LB (Pit) Harrison was fined $5,000 for unnecessary roughness when he struck Bengals tackle Andrew Whitworth late.

Analysis: The Steelers lost the game 18-12 to the first-place Bengals.
11/20/2009 Dwan Edwards, DT (Bal) Edwards plans to appeal the $5,000 fine he received for a hit delivered to Cleveland Browns wide receiver Joshua Cribbs on Monday night.

Analysis: Edwards said Friday he will appeal in an effort "to get some of it back."' He said the fine was levied because the hit came at a time when Cribbs "supposedly shouldn't have reasonably expected it."
11/20/2009 Garrett Wolfe, RB (Chi) The Bears placed Wolfe on injured reserve Friday, ending his season. The team listed a kidney injury for Wolfe, who told the Chicago Tribune in a text message that he suffered a lacerated kidney on the opening kickoff of a game against Arizona on Nov. 8.

Analysis: The Bears elevated running back Kahlil Bell from the practice squad to replace Wolfe. Wolfe carried the ball 22 times this season for 120 yards and one touchdown. He added nine special teams tackles and two receptions for 12 yards.
11/20/2009 Jake Delhomme, QB (Car) Delhomme was 19 of 42 for 227 yards and one TD and one INT on Thursday in a 24-17 loss to Miami.

Analysis: Delhomme had gone three straight games without a touchdown before Thursday. He gets a chance to bounce back against the New York Jets on Nov. 29 - the first of two games at Giants Stadium for him with a trip to face the Giants set for Dec. 27.
11/20/2009 Steve Smith, WR (Car) Smith had seven catches for 87 yards and 1 TD Thursday in the Panthers' 24-17 loss to Miami.

Analysis: Smith has 11 catches _ three for touchdowns _ in his last two games, as Jake Delhomme has started to look for him more.
11/20/2009 Jonathan Stewart, RB (Car) Stewart had 12 carries for 42 yards and Thursday in the Panthers' 24-17 loss to Miami.

Analysis: Stewart had two touchdowns five days earlier against Atlanta, but it was a different story against the defending AFC East champion Dolphins.
11/20/2009 DeAngelo Williams, RB (Car) Williams had 13 carries for 122 yards Thursday in a 24-17 loss to Miami.

Analysis: Williams has topped 100 yards four times in the last six weeks. Fantasy owners must be loving his production, particular his per-carry average.
11/20/2009 Davone Bess, WR (Mia) Bess had six catches for 63 yards in a 24-17 victory at Carolina on Thursday.

Analysis: Bess could be more of a factor in Miami's passing game after this effort. The Dolphins play the Bills next in Buffalo.
11/20/2009 Chad Henne, QB (Mia) Henne was 17 of 29 for 172 yards and one TD to RB Ricky Williams in a 24-17 victory at Carolina on Thursday.

Analysis: Henne has done a good job taking over as the starter for Chad Pennington, but he doesn't have too much fantasy value.
11/20/2009 Ricky Williams, RB (Mia) Williams rushed for 119 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 24-17 victory at Carolina on Thursday.

Analysis: Williams started in place of an injured Ronnie Brown. The 2002 NFL rushing champion had a receiving and rushing touchdown in the same game for the first time in his career that included a couple of lost seasons. "Coach always talks about finishing," Williams said. "Sometimes in this league, in a physical game, it's difficult to finish. I think in the past we've prided ourselves on finishing games and we did a good job tonight."
11/20/2009 Joe Berger, G (Mia) Berger, who replaced Jake Grove at center in Miami's game Thursday, left the game in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury.

Analysis: Berger tried to go back into the game but was re-injured. Nate Garner replaced him. It's not certain how serious the injuries to Berger and Grove are.
11/20/2009 Jake Grove, C (Mia) Grove left the Dolphins' game on Thursday because of an ankle injury. He did not return.

Analysis: Backup center Joe Berger also was injured but he would come back only to leave again. Grove is a big presence on the Miami offensive line and his presence was quickly missed after Berger left. Nate Garner moved over from left guard and botched a snap on the second play.
